Sensonaut-y Secret Party - Laundry Cuba Street Wellington
he Sensonauts present Sensonaut-y, an secret dance party. Been missing dancefloors, dope sounds and fun connection? Join us to get your dance hit, in an intentional invite-only party. A silver lining of lockdown is that we can delight in a Burnery takeover of Laundry - and finally throw another Sensonauts party, yusss! This means you can don outrageous costumes if you want to, dance how you want, be as delightfully colourful, playful and gorgeous (and consensual) a human as you are, and know that burn principles, including consent, are the absolute vibe of this event.
0pm Joanina - dreamy, tropical downtempo
11pm Marcos Alonso - luscious deep house
12.00 Zuke - melodic house/techno into breaks/jungle
1am SorchaLula - hefty 140s into modern jungle
2am Birkenthot - jungle to silkier bass ending with atmospheric wubs
Playing of course on the luscious inhouse Tub's Audio soundsystem at full, velvety power. Yum! Music will be focussed on what gets you feeling real good in your body, likely across house and bass music. Other creative elements may be announced...If there's something you'd like to experience or contribute, get in touch with The Sensonauts soon as we're putting this together quickly.
This is a Level 2 appropriate gig so private hire, and ticketed so that we can contribute to our Burner-owned venue and pay DJs fairly - in challenging times for venues and creatives. Grab your ticket at https://buytickets.at/thesensonauts/594679 and enter access code Sensonauty.
Numbers are limited inline with Govt regs, wear a mask for entry and exit, you must scan in on arrival. Once in, you can dance and no mask needed!
This day also marks Beltane, as the seasons shift from spring to summer, welcoming in growth, warmth and sensuality. We love to party with intention, and this event is influenced by Burn principles, if you need a refresher see https://kiwiburn.com/the-event/culture/guiding-principles/
Starts at 10pm, ends 3am.
Drinks available from the bar, no BYO/drugtaking as it's a fully licensed venue so please respect that - and they'd love your support. Nudity of your top half is permitted, pants must stay on.
Would be amazing if you can send any queries to The Sensonauts Facebook page, rather than Katie personally (FB doesn't allow a page to set up private events).
If there's someone you'd love to be there who understands consent, please message The Sensonauts.
Super excited to see y'all and dance together!

Splore is a three-day music and arts festival staged annually on the shores of Tāpapakanga Regional Park – perhaps the most beautiful festival setting in the world.
It's more than a good place. It's a good place in your heart.
Throughout the three days – and deep into the night – an eclectic lineup of musical artists from New Zealand and abroad plays the festival stages. Performing arts, installations, workshops and forums flower across the site. And people dance like no one's watching.
It's the best sort of party. But it's more than a party, it's a community. To come to Splore is to be part of Splore. Be kind, be respectful, be up for it.
